A Caroling We Will Go!

Last night was our 2nd annual “bus-o-fun” trip at Christmas time. This year we went Christmas caroling and visited some of our dear brothers and sisters who are elderly and/or shut-in and have not been able to come out to church in a while. We had a wonderful time of fellowship.

Special thanks to Sis. Rhonda for putting the music together, Sis. Rhonda and Sis. Diana for the hot cocoa and snacks afterwards and for Sis. Marla, our bus driver. Thank you all who were able to join us!

Time was limited, but we were able to visit Sis. Jolly, Sis. Claudia, Bro. Ray & Sis. Juanita, Sis. Mary, Sis. Blanche, Sis. Louise, Bro. Norman & Sis. Jane, Sis. Waters, and Bro. Danny & Sis. Carmen.

Keep It A Secret and Pray

If you see me stumbling while walking with God,
Do not criticize me, I need your love.
Show me compassion, I may lose my way, So keep it a secret and pray.

If you hear my grumbling, and fault finding too,
Be an example, Do not do as I do.
Let your light shine, until I am ashamed of my ways, then keep it a secret and pray.

If you hear me gossip as we walk along,
Dont join in with me, you know I am doing wrong.
Rebuke me sternly and go on your way, be sure to keep it a secret and pray.

If you hear me crying as we bow in prayer, Maybe my burdens are heavy to bear.
Speak to me kindly, show me that you care
By keeping my secret in prayer.

If you can still love me knowing all my wrongs,
You will grow in God as you press along, He will reward you with strength all the way,
For you can keep secrets and pray.
